I took the girls to a splash park today to get out of the house. While they were playing a little boy, I would say 9ish asked Megan what grade she was going to be in. She replied, "Kindergarden." The boy had a weird look on his face and his friend hit him and told him, "Nice you don't have a chance with her!" Meanwhile Megan was off playing in the water again. I can't believe this just happened! She is only five. I need to get a shot gun to scare them off already!

So I had some time on my hands and I thought I would teach the girls a little bit of history about the 4th of July. I was teaching them the words to God Bless America , that went well. Then I thought we should learn the words to the Pledge of Allegiance. So I am having them repeat the words after me and at the end Kenzie says... in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. I had to laugh.
